On the 23rd November 2013 The Southgate Club took part in the Southgate Christmas Festival. It was a great day for the club as we opened its doors to the community. A section of the Club was set up as Santas Grotto which saw some 245 children visit and receive a gift from Santa. The member’s bar was busy with new friends and existing members enjoying minced pies and mulled wine. The festivities extended late in to the evening with some great music including Decoy Jet.
A successful event requires careful planning and committed teamwork. It was a buzz to see great team work in play! I am proud to be part of the magnificent 12 who are committed to secure the club’s future and to serve its community.
I hope you enjoyed the day. Do get in touch and share your thoughts.
All the best
